The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for meeting the sales objectives for Fiber Glass System business unit within NOV in the Gulf Coast region and customers in the Chemical & Industrial market. This role leads sales activity in the region with independent area sales managers, representatives & distributors, developing project specific sales strategies and communicating project requirements to the company’s manufacturing operations, construction divisions and management team. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead and achieve Fiber Glass Systems sales and business development objectives for fiberglass piping and tank solutions in the assigned region. - Target new customers, new applications and follow on sales leads. - Assists in establishing a realistic sales quota for the assigned region/Customer; generates and maintains sales volume to meet or exceed established quota; prepares sales forecasts. - Drive disciplined sales execution, including activity tracking, pipeline management, and CRM utilization to deliver regular reporting on sales performance, opportunities, and market conditions. - Initiate regional sales calls and training seminars with area distributors and representatives - Instruct distributors, contractors and customers concerning product applications - Communicate & coordinate with management, peers and Sales Director with regard to cross-region project sales activity requirements. - Visit customer facilities and/or jobsites to monitor project progress and customer satisfaction. - Remain current in knowledge of competitive activities including product lines, pricing, services, market penetration.  - Participate in trade shows, customer events within FGS and NOV EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS - 5-10+ years of relevant technical sales experience, preferably in piping systems, tanks, composites, or related products - Experience managing independent representatives and distributors. - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field is preferred. JOB REQUIREMENTS - Ability to engage with technical stakeholders and have excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.  - Previous customer-facing experience. - Candidate must be able to work independently in a home-based office. - Significant domestic travel is required. Overnight Travel required 25%. - Work may require evening and weekend work - Valid US driver’s license and safe driving history
