RCI-NYSERDA-162 Executive Assistant (Chief of Staff) REMOTE EST

Overview This is a high-level executive support and coordination role supporting the Chief of Staff, President & CEO, and leadership team at New York State Energy Research and Development Authority. The person will help manage daily executive operations, schedules, meetings, communications, and special projects in a fast-paced environment. Main Responsibilities • Manage executive calendars, meetings, and schedules • Coordinate leadership and Board meetings • Track tasks, deadlines, and follow-ups • Prepare presentations, reports, and executive communications • Handle incoming requests and maintain documentation • Support external stakeholder communications • Assist with special projects and executive operations • Work closely with leadership teams and departments What the Client is Looking For • Executive Assistant / Administrative support background • Strong communication and professional writing skills • Experience coordinating projects and multiple priorities • Excellent organization and attention to detail • Strong Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, and Webex skills • Ability to support executives in a fast-moving environment • Comfortable preparing presentations and reports • Experience handling confidential information Key Responsibilities: • Provide administrative and operational support to the President’s Office • Coordinate and schedule internal and external stakeholder meetings • Support executive briefing meetings and prepare briefing materials • Handle internal inquiries and communications from external stakeholders • Assist the Chief of Staff with day-to-day coordination activities • Support NYSERDA program-related administrative functions • Develop presentations, reports, and briefing documents using MS Office tools Required Skills & Qualifications: • Strong experience with executive administrative duties • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint • Experience with scheduling, meeting coordination, and executive support • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
