The Quality Control Coordinator will support quality control objectives, work with internal teams and external partners, and resolve quality issues to ensure high standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of Value Added Services (VAS) work and review all components for accuracy and functionality to ensuring that only high-quality products proceed through the supply chain
- Review and disposition bulk and finished goods ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements
- Oversee quality inspections and documentation review for Amazon orders to maintain marketplace compliance and meet strict retailer standards
- Review and inspect samples to validate product quality before mass production, minimizing the risk of widespread defects
- Process and manage retention samples ensuring that goods are available for future quality investigations or regulatory inquiries
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with suppliers and contract manufacturers in order to resolve quality concerns promptly and maintain strong business relationships
- Other responsibilities as assigned by your manager
Skills
- Associate degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field or equivalent Quality Control experience
- Extremely detail oriented and self-motivated
- Previous inspection experience
- Strong independent worker
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field
- Basic laboratory skills or general science knowledge
- Previous experience with Good Manufacturing Practices
- Experience with SmartSheets
