Position: Purchasing Specialist / Buyer
Job Description
This position requires the negotiation and purchase of new 2016 & 2017 luxury vehicles on the market. You will be purchasing (100% client funded) directly from automotive dealerships throughout your region. Your objective will be to negotiate and source vehicles at a target sales price. You will be provided with the necessary training and guidance to become successful immediately. All Senior Buyers – Consultants are required to begin car searching within 3‑5 days of orientation.
Minimal local travel is required, up to a 60‑mile radius.
Qualifications
To Be Successful as a Buyer:
• Desire to work immediately
• A valid driver’s license
• No criminal background history
Professional Characteristics:
• Ability to work remotely from home office
• Present solution options versus identifying problems
• Driven by an innovative and creative entrepreneurial passion to succeed
• Good work ethic and understands how to conduct business professionally and accountably
Education & Employment History:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (minimum requirement)
• 15+ years of verifiable employment experience
• C‑Level management experience
• Work remotely from home office
Technical Aptitude:
• Proficient in all office suites for PC/Mac
Additional
Experience:
• 10+ years experience in sales, management, supervisory role, business owner, business development, consulting, buyer, or oil industry
• Retired, semi‑retired, currently full‑time employed, or in between employment – only 5‑10 hours per week needed in this position
Additional Information
No start‑up costs. All local travel and approved expenses associated with a purchased car are reimbursed 100%.
You can work your own schedule.
No micro‑management. The position requires a minimum of two vehicles to be purchased in 30 days. Senior Buyers – Consultants can purchase three cars in one week or two in 30 days – you set your own pace.
