About the role:
A Pricing Analyst (Quant) role focuses on using quantitative methods to analyze market data, develop pricing models, and optimize pricing strategies to maximize profitability. They leverage statistical analysis, mathematical modeling, and data-driven insights to make informed pricing decisions and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, customer behavior, and sales data to identify pricing opportunities and risks.
- Model Development: Build and maintain pricing models using statistical and mathematical techniques to simulate different pricing scenarios and predict outcomes.
- Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with business objectives, considering factors like cost, competition, and customer value.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze pricing performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and make adjustments to pricing strategies as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, product management, and other teams to ensure pricing strategies are aligned with overall business goals.
- Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations that communicate pricing analysis findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Assess and manage pricing-related risks, such as price elasticity, competitive pressures, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

- Experience in pricing analysis, revenue management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in statistical software packages (e.g., R, Python, SQL, SAS) and data visualization tools.
- Experience with pricing methodologies and techniques.
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
