The Role
FMCA Filings, LLC is looking for a veteran PPC Manager to take total ownership of our Google and Bing portfolios. We aren’t looking for a consultant, a strategist, or someone to give us concepts. We need the person who has actually been in the driver’s seat of multi million dollar annual budgets for years.
This is a hands on role for a seasoned pro with the ability to audit an inherited account and deliver a prioritized action plan within the first 30 days, separating quick wins from structural rebuilds. You will be responsible for the aggressive execution, day to day optimization, and scaling of high volume accounts in a fast moving, industry leading organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the Budget: Scale growth across Google, Bing and social media ads with strong campaign optimization, utilizing your experience to recognize when campaigns fall short of expectations and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced industry.
• Full Cycle Execution: Maintain and monitor keyword bids, account for daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, quality score and other important account metrics
• Data Analysis: Monitor and track KPIs like ROAS, CPC, CTR, conversion rates and overall profit, providing regular reports and updates to the Executive Staff daily, pivoting strategies instantly based on what the real time data is telling you, not what you hope it will say next week.
• Scale the Platforms: Proven ability to take a stable account and scale it, growing ROAS significantly without letting CPA spiral in the process. You know how to spot what's holding a campaign back, whether that's structural inefficiencies, wasted spend, poor Quality Scores, or a bidding strategy that's working against you, and you know how to fix it.
Requirements & Qualifications
• The Track Record: 8-10+ years of experience managing multi-million dollar PPC accounts with direct ownership of budget, strategy and performance. Familiarity with account consolidation strategies - restructuring overly fragmented campaigns and ad groups to improve smart bidding signals and reduce management overhead. Skilled at identifying ceiling constraints: budget caps, search impression share loss, Quality Score drag, auction competition - and knowing which levers to pull first
• Deep Technical Knowledge: We are looking for an expert with Google and Bing ads with a breadth of experience covering ROAs, Campaign Quality Restructuring, Keyword/Negative Keyword Optimization, Customer Match, CRM Audience Syncing, Funnel Analysis, Attribution Modeling, SERP tracking, etc. Someone with the experience to know when to employ platform automation and when to override it.
• Execution: If paid search is where you start, not where you stop, this role is for you. We need someone ready to roll up their sleeves on a real account turnaround, and then keep pushing growth into adjacent channels like email marketing. If that's not you, this isn't your role.
• Strategic Precision: You make moves based on hard numbers and can communicate performance trends clearly to the leadership team.
• Competitive Intelligence: Strong command of keyword research tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Keyword Planner), Auction Insight and search intent analysis
Your first 60-90 days will involve a full forensic audit of our existing Google and Microsoft Ads accounts — campaign structure, keyword coverage, match type strategy, negative keyword hygiene, audience architecture, bidding logic, conversion tracking fidelity, ad copy fatigue, landing page assignment, and geographic performance variance. You’ll identify what’s working, what’s quietly bleeding money, and what’s structurally broken. Then you’ll propose and execute a rebuild where warranted — not a cosmetic refresh, but a ground-up restructure when the data calls for it. Comfort with tearing down your predecessor’s work (or your own) when the numbers justify it is non-negotiable.
Motor carrier compliance is a niche vertical with its own language, seasonal patterns, and customer psychology. You will need to learn it. That means knowing the difference between a new carrier applying for their USDOT number and one needing a reinstatement, understanding why MCS-150 biennial update traffic spikes predictably, and recognizing that someone searching "MC authority" at 2 a.m. on a Tuesday converts very differently than someone searching at 10 a.m. on a Thursday. In your first 90 days, ask our operations team constant questions (who our customers are, what confuses them, what makes them leave versus buy). We want someone who will genuinely learn this industry, not just optimize in the abstract.
