Our client, a prestigious academic institution, is seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious Postdoctoral Fellow to join their esteemed Educational Psychology research group in **Nashville, Tennessee, US**. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct independent and collaborative research on topics related to educational psychology, such as student motivation, cognitive development, learning strategies, or instructional design. Design research studies, develop research instruments (surveys, interviews, assessments), and obtain Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval. Recruit participants and manage research data collection processes. Perform rigorous statistical analysis of quantitative data using software like SPSS, R, or Stata. Conduct qualitative data analysis, including thematic analysis and content analysis. Interpret research findings and contribute to the writing of research reports, manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals, and conference presentations. Assist faculty mentors in grant writing and proposal development. Stay current with the latest research and theoretical developments in educational psychology and related fields. Present research findings at departmental seminars, university symposia, and academic conferences. Collaborate with other researchers, students, and staff on various research projects. Contribute to the development of new research methodologies and approaches. Provide support for research-related administrative tasks. Engage in professional development activities to enhance research skills and knowledge. Participate in the academic life of the department in **Nashville, Tennessee, US**.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in Educational Psychology, Psychology, Education, or a closely related field is required. Demonstrated experience in designing and conducting empirical research studies. Proficiency in advanced statistical analysis (e.g., regression, ANOVA, SEM) and/or qualitative analysis techniques. Familiarity with research software (e.g., SPSS, R, NVivo) is essential. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate research methods and findings. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research team environment. Prior experience in a postdoctoral or research associate role is advantageous.
