Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Podcast Host and Producer INTERN to lead the creation, production, and delivery of engaging audio content. Duties
• Develop engaging podcast concepts, themes, and episode outlines that captivate audiences and align with strategic goals
• Host live recordings, interviews, and panel discussions with confidence and professionalism
• Manage all technical aspects of recording sessions, including operation of broadcast studio equipment and lighting for video components when applicable
• Edit audio and video content using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite to ensure high-quality production standards
• Oversee post-production processes including sound mixing, video editing, adding graphics or subtitles, and finalizing episodes for distribution
• Coordinate with guests, interviewees, and team members to schedule recordings and ensure smooth production workflows
• Manage social media channels to promote episodes, engage audiences, and grow listenership through strategic content management and translation when needed
Qualifications
• Proven experience in storytelling, journalism, or media production with a strong portfolio of podcasts or multimedia projects
• Proficiency in audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere) and video editing tools; familiarity with Adobe Photoshop is a plus
• Skilled in operating broadcast studio equipment as well as lighting for video production environments
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interpret complex ideas clearly and write compelling scripts or show notes
• Strong understanding of content editing, post-production techniques, and video production workflows
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to reach diverse audiences effectively
• Technical writing experience related to media or broadcast content is advantageous
• Knowledge of social media management strategies for content promotion and audience engagement
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
