Role Description The Pet First Aid Veterinary Technician Instructor is responsible for delivering engaging, evidence-based instruction in animal CPR, first aid, and emergency response to diverse audiences. In this remote role, the instructor will plan and teach classes in their location, demonstrate hands-on skills, and guide participants through realistic emergency scenarios utilizing mannequins. This role requires strong communication, professional conduct, and a commitment to animal welfare and educational excellence.
Qualifications:
• Experience in Emergency Services, including exposure to emergency protocols and field response.
• Background as a veterinary technician or veterinary professional with experience in animal CPR, first aid, and emergency or critical care strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated teaching, training, or public speaking experience, with the ability to engage and support learners of varying experience levels.
• Relevant certifications in animal CPR/first aid, emergency response, or disaster preparedness; FEMA training or similar credentials are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a commitment to inclusive, respectful learning environments.
