Job description: Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Black Mountain in finding a Part-Time Nanny for their 2 sons, a 1-month-old and a 2-year-old. The nanny would typically be needed 3 weekdays, 9/10:00 am-5/6:00 pm.(24hours)The best nanny for this family would be kind, friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable in early childhood development. The nanny will be caring for their two children, an energetic 2-year-old and their 1-month-old infant. The ideal candidate is someone who brings a kid-first, open-minded, and education-focused approach to childcare, and who is flexible and understanding of the natural chaos that comes with working in a busy household. The toddler is very verbal and loves arts and crafts, trucks and trains, blocks and puzzles, reading books, pretend play, outdoor adventures, and gardening. Currently, the family is working on a daily routine and schedule for the infant, which the nanny will be asked to maintain. A nanny who can create a calm, engaging, and learning-rich environment, incorporating reading, backyard play, and structured activities for the toddler, would be the ideal fit. Their 2-year-old has a fish allergy, the nanny should be cautious of. This is a long-term position, ideally lasting up to 3½ years.
