About the position
Lakeland Community College is seeking an instructor to teach two courses for the Fall semester: ARTS 1120 - Art Appreciation and ARTS 2220 - Survey of Art I. The instructor will be responsible for classroom instruction, maintaining course records, grading, and contributing to program and course curriculum development. ARTS 1120 is a lecture course providing a general study of visual arts through historical periods and artist techniques, meeting Mondays and Wednesdays from 8am to 9:15am. ARTS 2220 is an online lecture course offering a comprehensive exploration of stylistic developments in painting, sculpture, and architecture from prehistory to the Renaissance, emphasizing the relationship between visual arts and their cultural context.

Requirements
• Master’s degree in Arts or Humanities that include 18 credit hours of continuing education.
