Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers, ensuring high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Enter data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests expediently and efficiently to meet client turnaround times, navigating efficiently through our imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations.
- Differentiate between different claim types and follow the appropriate data entry guidelines, accurately identifying specific document types that require special handling.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times, supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform quality reviews of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.
- Alert management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies, providing recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate.
Qualifications and Requirements
