Outpatient Mental Health Therapist – CA/WA Part-Time

Job Description: • Deliver virtual outpatient therapy to individuals affected by chronic conditions and their family caregivers. • Perform remote clinical counseling services to clients of Nolia as scheduled and in accordance with company policies. • Maintain proper licensure and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics which are binding upon or applicable to the services performed at Nolia. • Completion of written records for each patient including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by Nolia or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient. • Maintain up to date and accurate patient files at all times. Requirements: • Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in counseling or social work • Active, unrestricted license (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) in the State of California or Washington • Required experience with completing assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes in compliance with healthcare plans • Ideally 2 years of experience (professional or lived) in understanding the needs and challenges faced by family caregivers and older adults • Demonstrate a deep understanding of cultural humility and the ability to communicate and effectively interact with individuals from different cultures, abilities, genders, ethnicities, and races. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients. • Specialty or training in ACT and/or CBT highly preferred. • Social justice oriented and practices anti-racism work. • Proficiency in another language, other than English, is a plus but not required.
