Our experts assist legal teams through services including: · Medical record review and analysis · Interpretation of EHR audit trails and metadata · Development of documentation timelines · Case strategy consultation and interrogatories · eDiscovery request formulation · Technical education for attorneys and legal teams As our resident Oracle Health / Cerner CCL expert , you would bring deep technical expertise in Oracle Health EHR / Cerner Millennium reporting and data investigation, with particular strength in Cerner Command Language (CCL) / Discern Explorer . Role Overview The Oracle Health / Cerner CCL admin will analyze patient medical records and system data generated from the Oracle Health EHR or Cerner Millennium platform. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze medical records, reporting output, audit-related data, and workflow evidence, then produce concise written findings from an expert perspective for attorney clients. You will interpret documentation workflows, audit trail activity, metadata, and system configuration behavior to produce written expert analysis for attorneys. This role is structured as a 1099 independent contractor position. Work is accepted on a case-by-case basis depending on your availability. All work is fully remote and may be performed outside normal business hours, provided deliverable deadlines are met. Primary deliverables include written expert summaries, timeline reconstruction, and interpretation of Oracle Health EHR system activity relevant to legal matters. Key Responsibilities · Analyze Cerner Millennium charting, orders, documentation, and workflow evidence using CCL / Discern Explorer expertise. · Interpret how Cerner data is surfaced through reporting, custom queries, PowerChart views, MPages, PowerForms, and related workflow tools. · Evaluate whether reported data aligns with expected Cerner workflows for charting, order entry, documentation, results review, alerts, and clinical review activity. · Explain the difference between source documentation, rendered chart output, and data retrieved through custom CCL reporting. · Review legal medical record production issues, metadata questions, audit-related outputs, and chronology disputes involving Cerner data. · Prepare written summaries, timelines, interrogatory support, and expert-facing analyses for counsel. · Translate technical findings into plain English while preserving accuracy and defensibility. Minimum Requirements · Bachelor’s degree. · 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Cerner / Cerner Millennium experience focused on CCL, Discern Explorer, report writing, data analysis, or back-end investigation. · Demonstrated ability to write, troubleshoot, optimize, and explain CCL queries, reports, prompts, joins, record structures, and output logic. · Strong working knowledge of Cerner Millennium workflow and data context across one or more domains such as PowerChart Clinicals, FirstNet, SurgiNet, PathNet, RadNet, PharmNet, HIM, scheduling, registration, or oncology. · Strong understanding of Cerner tools and concepts such as PowerChart, MPages, PowerForms, Dynamic Documentation, iView, PowerPlans, Discern Alerts / Discern Expert, and reporting logic. · Ability to connect query results to real clinical workflows and explain limitations, assumptions, and data provenance. Preferred Qualifications · Former Oracle Cerner employee, client-side Cerner report writer, Discern / CCL developer, or senior analyst supporting Millennium reporting and data requests. · 8+ years of Cerner Millennium experience. · Current or former Cerner certifications or documented equivalent enterprise experience. · Prior work with legal medical record, ROI, audit-related requests, compliance, chart correction review, or patient safety investigations. · Experience supporting operational or clinical stakeholders with custom CCL reports, ad hoc queries, and production reporting. · Strong understanding of Oracl Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
