Position Overview:
Seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for outpatient neurology roles in Raleigh and Durham. These are established, high-volume clinics with strong support and a collaborative physician team.
Locations:
Raleigh, NC
Durham, NC
Schedule:
Monday–Friday
Open to 4-day schedule for strong candidates
No call
Responsibilities:
Manage follow-up neurology patients (adult population)
Evaluate and treat conditions such as headaches, stroke, MS, Parkinson’s, etc.
Order/interprete labs, imaging, and diagnostics
Manage medications and ongoing care plans
Respond to patient messages and refill requests
Practice Setup:
30-minute visits (primarily follow-ups)
Strong support: MA rooms patients, RN handles callbacks
EMR: Athena
Additional Details:
Option to work more within subspecialties (e.g., MS)
1–2 telehealth days/week available after ramp-up
Some procedural exposure (e.g., trigger point injections – training available)
Private practice feel with minimal bureaucracy
Requirements:
NP or PA license (NC)
Experience preferred (neurology, cardiology, or related)
