Providing comprehensive case management for child support enforcement, the full-time North Dakota Licensed Case Manager will locate absent parents, enforce obligations, and manage accounts while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
• Manage an assigned caseload, ensuring enforcement of child support and medical support obligations
• Gather information for reviews and negotiate payment plans while documenting all case-related activities
• Provide customer service and explain complex issues in an understandable manner
Required qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, criminal justice, social work, psychology, or paralegal/legal assistant
• One year of experience in collections, eligibility work, law enforcement, or related fields if holding a degree in another field
• Associate degree in paralegal/legal assistant with three years of relevant work experience may be considered
• Experience conducting investigations or research related to child support collections is preferred
• General knowledge of personal computer operations, including word processing and spreadsheet software
