Sr. Network Engineer Juniper Specialist Location: Telephonic & Remote | San Jose, CA This is C2C Job Title: Senior Network Engineer (Juniper Specialist) OVERALL EXPERIENCE 10-12 YRS+ IDEALYY 12 YRS+ Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with strong expertise in Juniper routing and switching technologies. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of networking (both physical and virtual), experience with modern backup solutions, and exposure to containerized environments and CI/CD deployments. This role requires excellent troubleshooting abilities and a proactive approach to root cause analysis. Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructure using Juniper routing and switching technologies • Configure and support virtual and physical networking environments • Manage and optimize software-based backup solutions such as Veeam, Cohesity, and Zerto • Support and integrate CI/CD pipelines with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes • Perform advanced troubleshooting and conduct detailed root cause analysis for network and system issues • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance • Monitor network performance and implement improvements where necessary • Maintain documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures Required Skills & Qualifications • 10-12 years of hands-on experience in network engineering • Strong expertise in Juniper routing and switching • Solid understanding of network protocols, architectures, and security • Experience with software-based backup solutions (Veeam, Cohesity, Zerto, or similar) • Working knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in deployment environments • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with proven experience in root cause analysis • Excellent communication and collaboration skills Qualifications • Relevant certifications (e.g., Juniper certifications such as JNCIA, JNCIP, JNCIE) • Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) • Familiarity with automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.) Key Competencies • Problem-solving mindset • Attention to detail • Ability to work in high-pressure environments • Strong team collaboration • Experience with cloud networking and cloud connectivity.
