Job description: Job Summary

Under general direction, is responsible for performing recreational work involving the creation and implementation of one or more recreational activity programs such as organized sports, music, nature, camping, drama, dance, or arts and crafts, on a City-wide basis. Collects and analyzes data regarding the recreational needs of the various cultural and economic groups in the metropolitan area to develop and implement a specialized recreation program to fit these needs. Exercises functional supervision over assigned staff.

This position is an "unclassified" position and has no disciplinary appeal rights to the Municipal Civil Service Commission. This position is likewise subject to at-will employment status and can be terminated at any time for any reason.

Work Location
Various Locations; At the department's discretion, the work location and days/hours may be subject to change.
