Job Description
What You'll Do
This position reports directly to the MAASE Executive Director and has primary management responsibility over training and development programming (ongoing and grant funded). This role is responsible for the formation and execution of the annual schedule of programs and events to achieve the Board approved strategic and financial priorities. It includes creation of the business plan for profitability and impact of MAASE programs, special events, and grant programs and is accountable for oversight of revenue generation and budget management in cooperation with the Director of Business and Finance and Board Treasurer. This position will also support the work of the Board and Executive Director as it relates to legislative advocacy and association partnerships, often acting as the association designee. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: What We Offer Working Conditions

This position requires 40 hours of remote work per week.
This is a remote position. The staff member will need a private work area and adequate power
source as well as Internet speed of 20 mbps or higher.
Other work environments may include schools and businesses.
Onsite work is required for in-person professional learning events (typically in the Lansing area). This schedule can be found at maase.org.
Onsite work may be required for other meetings as requested. Occasional travel required with
infrequent overnight stays.
Infrequent lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying of materials weighing up to 30 pounds.
The associate director must provide their own transportation.
Typical remote work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. There may be occasional meetings that are scheduled outside of this timeframe.
