WellPower is a community-focused organization dedicated to fostering mental health through strength, resilience, and hope. The Mental Health Therapist II will provide comprehensive psychological and behavioral case management services to support individuals in their recovery journey, ensuring proper documentation and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic mental health assessments as well as individual, couple, and/or group psychotherapy
- Develop treatment plans; monitor treatment progress and follow-up as clinically indicated
- Facilitate the individual's growth and development with an emphasis on strengths, culture, resiliency, and wellbeing
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to support the growth and development of those we serve
- Facilitate the coordination of services for individuals with supplemental needs in psychiatric, case management, and medical domains
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation consistent with WellPower standards
- Participate in team/department meetings, trainings, and supervisory sessions as required
- Maintain a trauma informed environment of wellbeing
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or other human services field required
- Licensed or within 6 months of licensure preferred
- 1 to 2 years of experience in mental health or human services preferred
