Job Summary
Rocker Health is seeking a compassionate, client-centered Mental Health Therapist to provide high-quality care to individuals and families across the lifespan. The ideal candidate will be experienced in delivering therapeutic services using evidence-based practices and will thrive in a flexible, supportive, and innovative remote environment. This role involves working with a diverse population through individual, couples, and group therapy services.
Rocker Health serves a growing population of adults and young adult men who are seeking therapeutic support, guidance, accountability, and positive mentorship within the counseling relationship. We are looking for clinicians who are skilled in building trust, fostering engagement, and supporting clients through challenges related to emotional wellness, life transitions, relationships, behavioral concerns, identity development, stress management, and personal growth.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, cultural awareness, and the ability to create a supportive and empowering therapeutic environment for clients from diverse backgrounds. Experience working with adolescent males, young adults, family systems, trauma-informed care, and behavioral health interventions is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to determine client needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings.
• Provide therapeutic services using various modalities, including:
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Solution-Focused Therapy
• Christian Counseling (optional based on client preference)
• Facilitate individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Provide crisis support and risk assessments as needed.
• Stay current with best practices, licensure requirements, and clinical trends through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
• Education:
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Preferred experience with children, families, or geriatric populations.
• Familiarity with clinic-based or remote mental health service delivery.
• Skills:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Culturally competent and sensitive to client diversity.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload.
