Medical Receptionist / Medical Assistant Hybrid - Bilingual (Spanish Required) Location: Hempstead, NY Salary: $23-$25 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday | Flexible between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (40 Hours Guaranteed) About the Role A busy outpatient clinic in Hempstead is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Medical Receptionist who is also experienced as a Medical Assistant. This is a full-time hybrid position for a dependable, detail-oriented professional who can manage front desk responsibilities while stepping into clinical support when needed. This role is ideal for someone comfortable in a fast-paced environment who understands both patient-facing administrative work and clinical operations. Responsibilities Front Desk Duties: • Greet and check in patients professionally • Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars • Verify insurance and collect co-pays • Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries • Maintain accurate and organized patient records • Enter and manage all patient data within eClinicalWorks (ECW) Medical Assistant Duties (as needed): • Welcome and prepare patients for exams and procedures • Record vital signs and medical history • Assist providers during exams, procedures, and follow-ups • Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked exam rooms • Ensure accurate clinical documentation in ECW Requirements • Previous Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting • Fluent in Spanish (required) • Strong proficiency in eClinicalWorks (ECW) - mandatory • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Reliable, professional, and adaptable • Comfortable working flexible hours within clinic schedule Candidates without ECW experience will not be considered.
