Overview:
We’re looking for a sharp, fast, and taste-driven photo editor to handle image selections, sequencing, and project management/delivery,
for high-end real estate shoots both commercial and residential. This role sits after capture, so project managing everything that happens after media is delivered from the field for our boutique media agency.
What You’ll Do:
• Review large batches of RAW images and select final sets for editing and coordination
• Identify the strongest compositions, angles, and moments
• Sequence images to create a clean, compelling property narrative
• Flag issues for management (exposure problems, color inconsistencies, sensor dust, missing shots)
• Collaborate with our team to maintain a consistent visual standard
• Edit Matterport, Zillow 3D tours, Drone Photos, and video
• Order floor plans and work with photographers to ensure work is delivered on time and is accurate
• Deliver media to clients and communicate with clients on feedback and managing revisions
Volume & Turnaround:
• Projects range from 20–100+ images
• Turnaround typically next-day, usually 24-48 hrs post-shoot depending on the service
• Ongoing work available
You’re a Fit If You:
• Have strong visual taste (this is the most important factor) and great communications skills
• Can edit down without losing the story
• Understand real estate or architectural photography
• Work quickly without sacrificing quality
• Are highly reliable with deadlines
• Demonstrate advanced ability in Adobe Bridge, Photoshop and Lightroom (for flagging/selecting workflows), Dropbox, and Google Drive
• Have experience with reading floor plans
• Have worked as a photographer or photo editor for at least two years
• Are available from 3pm-8pm PST (California time) at least four days a week (20 hrs)
Bonus:
• Experience with luxury real estate or hospitality imagery and videography, video editing
• Premiere Pro a plus
• Experience collaborating with remote teams
• Slack proficient
