Job Description: • Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems from concept through production. • Create and maintain 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and product documentation. • Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analyses, and design reviews. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineering, manufacturing, quality, and sourcing. • Support prototype fabrication, testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities. • Drive design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), and cost-reduction initiatives. • Investigate and resolve product performance, reliability, and production issues. • Manage multiple engineering projects while meeting schedules, budgets, and performance objectives. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. • 2+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development. • Proficiency with SolidWorks for 3D modeling, assemblies, and drawing creation. • Experience creating detailed manufacturing drawings and applying GD&T principles. • Knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and assembly. • Experience supporting prototype builds, testing, and product validation activities. • Familiarity with engineering calculations, tolerance stack-ups, and root cause analysis. • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
