- Must live in the Tampa Bay area. This position is not remote.
- Must have experience teaching SAT/ACT math concepts, Algebra 1 & 2, and Geometry
- Certification/license preferred
- Must be a dedicated and qualified professional committed to the success of students!
- Candidates will take an assessment and need to show mastery of skills ranging from Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, etc. before starting the position.
- Must be available at least one weekend day.
- Provide individualized tutoring sessions to high school students
- Work with students to review their goals, keep them accountable, and increase test scores
- Create a positive learning environment
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
- Utilize physical and online curriculum
- You are able to create your schedule based on tutoring hours:
- Mondays through Thursdays 9:00-7:30 pm
- Fridays 9:00-4:00 pm
- Sundays 11:00-4:00 pm
- Must be available Fridays and/or Sundays
