Department Overview

The Command Center Software Deployment, Managed and Support Services is the team that delivers solutions to the public safety sector. We are committed to providing technology and tools which will allow customers to focus on their mission, and enable them to respond faster with smarter and safer decisions. We deploy and support products such as Emergency Call Handling, 911 Equipment, Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management Systems, Jail Management Systems and Mobile Data Computing, among other offerings.


Job Description

The Software Application Specialist Manager will lead team of Application Specialist and lead deployment processes of Motorola’s public safety and command center software suite within complex software ecosystems for public safety agencies. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, project management and people management skills to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of the software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Communication: Present analysis results and project updates to stakeholders, developing clear and informative presentations that support effective decision-making and facilitate project buy-in from customer leadership.

The Application Specialist Team Manager will be a working team member who can assist with lead tasks or application specialist tasks as needed. The primary role for the manager is to support and assist the team by being an advocate, mentor, champion, planner and innovator. The Manager will lead by example and project a “Can Do” - “People First” attitude.

The Manager will be responsible for overseeing scheduling, time card approval, expense report approval, yearly goals, performance managing and training. Additionally, the manager will work with other teams including Product Management, Sales/Pre-sales, and Support to assist with Application Specialist Team involvement and advocate for customer satisfaction.

Target Base Salary Range: $100,000-$110,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
