This role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week).Duties and Responsibilities:Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Manages day-to-day support of the Ariba non merchandise system and ensures understanding of processes and procedures and provides guidance or decisions on issues that are raised.
- Contributes to decisions regarding non-merchandise procurement to pay as part of the Partner Country Organization (IPO).
- Ensures the training, development, and performance of their team’s staff to retain a motivated, professional workforce that achieves their career objectives.
- Recruits and recommends qualified employees for their team’s staff positions.
- Establishes, communicates and evaluates job responsibilities and performance expectations to their team to ensure a mutual understanding of desired results.
- Understands the overarching company strategy while communicating and modeling the core values of the organization to create a sense of teamwork and membership among employees.
- Acts as primary contact and consultant for all National Business Coordinators (NBC) and National IT Demand Managers (NDM) within his country with respect to non-merchandise procurement to pay.
- Serves as the single point of contact for the non-merchandise IPO/PCO for any alignment with the US.
- Acts as a point of contact during National Qualification and Prioritization for non-merchandise procurement to pay ideas and demands.
- Consults with leadership on the development of their team's strategy.
- Advises leadership to source external vendors for applicable services when appropriate.
- Liaises with applicable areas of the business to ensure timely and efficient communication flow.
- Consults with the business to effectively design and streamline applicable processes within the organization.
- Keeps up-to-date on external best practices and relevant changes to their field/area; communicates updates to leadership.
- Consults the requestor for the current and target situations for submission of an idea with the IPO framework for any Ariba demands.
- Monitors status of all Ariba Idea/Demands and provides current information on operation to any other national stakeholder and both the requesting and leading domain.
- Hosts and actively participates in bi-weekly Ariba Key User calls to support organizational adoption and share best practice usage information.
- Drives and organizes national change management in terms of Ariba.
- Organizes trainings for new and existing Ariba end users.
- Acts as level 2 support for Ariba business process tickets.
- Monitors Ariba KPIs and develops new strategies to improve the results.
- Transfers knowledge of Ariba data definitions with the National Reporting Shared Services team to ensure accurate data representation in the Ariba KPI dashboard.
- Coordinates the cross domain/country investigation, identification, coordination and development of any processes or functionality associated with non-merchandise procurement.
- Anticipates potential issues, manages changes proactively, involves the correct stakeholders and ensure tasks/proposed solutions are completed on time, and within budget.
- Assesses the functional fit of a new Ariba functionality use case with the National Business Coordinators, National IT Demand Managers, and business stakeholders.
- Prepares and delivers informative and persuasive presentations to leadership, large groups, and cross-functional teams.
- Manages their team by driving projects and tasks to completion through effective prioritization, work planning, resource allocation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Identifies cost-saving opportunities and potential process improvements.
- Serves as the primary link between their team’s staff and leadership to ensure understanding of company goals, objectives, and opportunities for improvement.
- Complies with ALDI privacy and security requirements and policies if job responsibilities include possible access to confidential and/or sensitive information.

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Information Technology or Project Management or a related field required.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Technology, Project Management and retail operations required.
- Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
- Experience with SAP Ariba solutions, including modules like Sourcing, Procurement, Contract Management, Supplier Management, and Ariba Network preferred.
- Experience with Ariba Development tools (e.g., Ariba Network Integration, Ariba APIs) preferred.
- Experience in Ariba support and troubleshooting, identify technical issues and work with IT on resolution/testing preferred.
- Experience in Incident Management and Change Management preferred.
- Work may be performed in an office, remote office or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
- Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
- Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
- Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
- Domestic travel required.
