As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and interpreting medical imaging, ensuring patients receive timely and accurate evaluations. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and contribute to the overall success of our medical practice.
Responsibilities
Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures and interpret results
Collaborate with healthcare providers to determine appropriate imaging studies
Provide consultations and support to clinical staff on imaging-related issues
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards in imaging
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
Stay updated on advancements in radiology and medical imaging techniques
Engage in continuous professional development and education
Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree
Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state
Experience in Radiology, preferably in a clinical setting
Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Proficiency in using radiology information systems and imaging software
Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-4p (MSK) or 8a-5p (thoracic and neuro)
Setting: Onsite (MSK) or remote (thoracic and neuro)
Case Types: MSK (including procedures), thoracic, or neuro
Case Volume: 7 per hour
Must be board-certified
