Our Banking Operations Client Services Consulting team is seeking a Business Consultant III to join our team. In this role, you will conduct onsite visits with banking clients up to 50% of the time to evaluate loan operations, identify performance improvement opportunities, and quantify expected benefits. You will support utilization studies aimed at helping clients better leverage Jack Henry systems, with a primary focus on SilverLake System functionality. Consultants assess front- and back-office processes, provide system-aligned process improvement recommendations, and identify opportunities to increase operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, self-motivated, and an effective communicator, with strong verbal and written communication skills, who can work comfortably with both senior leadership and day-to-day system users. This position may be worked remotely within the United States with the exception of California. This position is ineligible for immigration sponsorship and support. What you'll be responsible for: • Conduct on-site customer operational and/or systems analyses, when not working remotely, to identify problems and improvement areas. • Identify opportunities to improve customer operations and systems throughout project engagements. • Prepare reports that clearly document findings, recommendations, and proposed process improvements. • Design recommended solutions, including required hardware and software specifications, and document them in detail based on engagement results. • Communicate effectively with customers about JH products, services, and solutions to support strong client relationships and retention. • Participate in sales activities and proposal presentations as needed, while supporting ongoing team and account responsibilities. • May perform other job duties as assigned. What you'll need to have: • At least 5 years of experience working within the banking industry. • At least 3 years of hands-on experience supporting bank loan back - office operations. • Experience with the Jack Henry™ SilverLake Core System, specifically the Loan application, including parameter setup and maintenance. • Ability to travel up to 50%, typically one trip per month lasting up to one week, with additional travel as needed based on client requirements. • Strong critical thinking and problem - solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex information and develop practical solutions. • Strong ability to communicate and interact professionally with employees, customers, and vendors.
