Consilio’s Direct Hire division is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support a growing litigation team for an boutique regulatory and litigation-focused firm.
This paralegal will support attorneys handling matters related to food and agriculture policy, customs and trade policy, and litigation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently. This is a unique opportunity to serve as the sole paralegal on the team, working closely with attorneys and taking ownership of workflows.
This role is primarily remote, with occasional in-office attendance in downtown Washington, DC as needed for client or case-related requirements and does not have a billable hourly requirement!
Compensation: $75,000 – $90,000, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct legal research using Lexis and other tools
• Draft, proofread, format, and electronically file documents via PACER
• Organize and maintain case files, pleadings, and discovery materials
• Track case status and monitor deadlines
• Manage court calendars and scheduling
• Prepare materials for depositions, hearings, and trials
• Coordinate with external vendors (court reporters, agencies, etc.)
• Support general litigation and administrative needs as assigned
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience with federal and state e-filing
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Experience monitoring regulatory or legislative developments is a plus
