About the position We are a fast-growing plaintiffs’ litigation firm based in New York and New Jersey, led by a hands-on partnership team and supported by an experienced Head Paralegal. Our firm leverages modern systems including SmartAdvocate (case management), Slack (internal communications), and Unite (telephony) to deliver high-quality legal representation efficiently. As we continue to scale, we are seeking a high-agency, detail-oriented Hybrid Litigation Paralegal & Intake Specialist to join our team remotely and support both litigation workflow and client communications. You will play a critical role in: Clearing and managing litigation paperwork backlog Drafting key pre-litigation and litigation documents Supporting client intake and overflow phone coverage Reducing administrative burden on senior team members This is an opportunity for a self-directed legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can context-switch effectively between documentation and client communication. Responsibilities • Draft Bills of Particulars • Prepare Discovery Responses • Assist with standard pre-litigation and litigation documentation • Utilize firm templates and follow established internal processes • Maintain accurate case records within SmartAdvocate • Manage document workflows and ensure deadlines are met • Handle overflow inbound calls via Unite (VoIP system) • Conduct client intake and gather relevant case information • Provide professional, empathetic customer service • Route calls appropriately within the firm • Maintain detailed notes and updates in case management systems Requirements • 4+ years of experience in a paralegal or litigation support role • Experience drafting discovery responses and similar litigation documents • Strong written and verbal English proficiency • Ability to work full-time during U.S. Eastern Time hours • Comfortable working within structured templates and established workflows Nice-to-haves • Spanish fluency (highly preferred for client phone coverage) • Legal education background (LLB or equivalent strongly considered) • Experience supporting U.S.-based law firms • Familiarity with SmartAdvocate or similar case management software Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
