Licensed Medicare Insurance Agent (1099 Contractor)

MedicareCompareUSA is seeking licensed health insurance professionals to join our growing network of independent Medicare agents. This is a 1099 independent contractor position compensated 100% on commission. Unlike most sales roles, our agents work warm, pre-screened referrals generated through contracted relationships with local hospital systems, physician groups, pharmacies, and community health organizations — not cold calls. Compensation Structure • 60/40 street-level commission split on provider program sales and renewals • 100% street-level commission on all self-generated sales outside the provider program • Day-one vesting — commissions and renewals are yours from your first sale • Renewal commissions on existing book of business • Real-time commission tracking What You'll Do • Work warm referrals from contracted hospitals, physicians, and pharmacies • Enroll clients in Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D plans • Participate in hospital-sponsored Medicare educational seminars • Use plan comparison and direct enrollment software • Run co-op marketing campaigns via social media, digital, and direct mail • Manage your book of business using AgencyBloc CRM Requirements • Active Health Insurance License (required at time of application) • National Producer Number (NPN) in good standing • Current AHIP Certification, or willingness to complete prior to selling • Strong communication and relationship-building skills • Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor • Reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a professional workspace • Life insurance license a plus, but not required • Medicare sales experience preferred; motivated newcomers welcome What We Provide (No Cost to You) • No fees for CRM access, technology, or administrative support • Warm referrals from contracted hospitals, physicians, and pharmacies • Compliant co-op lead generation and marketing platforms • Direct carrier appointments with UnitedHealthcare, Humana, Aetna, Anthem, and others • Compliance oversight, application tracking, and ongoing CMS training • Open release policy — your carrier contracts are yours if you leave Benefits • Flexible schedule • Work from home • Dental, vision, and health insurance available Work Location: Remote Job Type: Contract (1099) License Required: Active Health Insurance License, National Producer Number (NPN) in good standing Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per year Benefits: • Dental insurance • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Vision insurance • Work from home Application Question(s): • This position is a 1099 Independent Contractor role with 100% commission-based pay (no base salary).
