As the business continues to scale, the agency is seeking a licensed sales professional who can confidently manage leads, generate quotes, close policies, and contribute directly to agency growth. Positio n Summary We are seeking a licensed, driven, and customer-focused Insurance Sales Representative to join the team and take ownership of the sales pipeline. This role is focused on working leads, generating quotes, following up consistently, nurturing prospects, presenting coverage options, and closing new business. The ideal candidate is someone who understands insurance sales, communicates clearly and professionally, and is motivated by both base compensation and performance-based commission. This is a sales-first role, not a customer support position. Success in this role will depend heavily on follow-up discipline, pipeline management, strong communication, and the ability to convert opportunities into writ ten premium. Key Re sponsibilities Lead Management & Pi • peline Follow-Up Work leads provided by the agency • through the CRM.Proactively follow up with prospects by phone, email, and text • when appropriate.Re-engage older leads, x-dated leads, and previous inquiries that hav • e gone untouched.Make outbound sales calls consistently when there are no schedu • led appointments.Build and maintain a healthy persona • l sales pipeline.Track follow-ups and ensure no quality opportunity slips th rough the cracks. • Quoting & Sales Generate accurate insurance q • uotes for prospects.Present policy recommendations based on custo • mer needs and goals.Explain coverage options clea • rly and confidently.Handle objections professionally and guide prospects towar • d a buying decision.Close policies and generate written p • remium consistently.Ask for referrals and create opportunities for cross-selling additional products. Client R • elationship Management Build strong trust-based rela • tionships with clients.Deliver excellent customer experience throug • hout the sales process.Maintain client retention through professional commu • nication and follow-up.Foster long-term product loyalty a nd relationship growth. • CRM & Documentation Use Agency MVP CRM to manage pipeline activity, notes, follo • w-ups, and client records.Maintain clean, organized, a • nd up-to-date CRM records.Document quote activity, follow-up attempts, and sales outcomes accuratel • y. Professional Development Stay current on underwriting guidelines, rating requirements, produ • ct offerings, and compliance.Participate in coaching, team meetin • gs, and continuing education.Continuously improve product knowledge, communication skills, and closing abili • ty. Requirements Non-Negotiable Active Texas Property & Casualty • General Lines License (mandatory).Candidates with only a Personal Lines license will not qualify, as this license does not allow full sell • ing access within Farmers systems.Ability to legally • write and sell policies in Texas.Strong ve • rbal English communication skills.Must be clearly under • stood by customers over the phone.Strong interpersonal • and relationship-building skills.Highly • self-motivated and goal-oriented.Comfortable handling • rejection and staying persistent.Stro • ng sense of urgency and ownership.Able to work independe ntly with • out constant supervision. Preferred Active Life & Health Insurance • License (strong plus, not required).Previous insurance sales exper • ience (Auto / Home / Life preferred).Experience with quot • e generation and policy presentation.Experience usi • ng insurance CRMs such as Agency MVP.Strong outbound calling / lead follow -up experie nce. Compensati on Structu • re Base Salary $2,000 USD/month Commission Representative must first ge • nerate $20,000 in written premium in a month.Once they reach $20,001+, they earn 4% commission on total premium s old, not • just the amount abov • e the threshold. Ex • ample: Premium sold: $25,000Base s • alary: $2,000Commission: 4% of $25,000 = $1,000Total m • onthly earnings: $3,000 Performance Expectations Ra • mp-up period expected during the first 1–2 months.By approximately month 3, representative should be con • sistently working toward minimum production goa • ls.Baseline goal: $20,000+ monthly written premiumStrong performers are expected to exceed basel ine and maximiz • e commission upside.
