I am developing a technology-intensive immersive entertainment and wellness venue in an 8,700 SF warehouse space in North County San Diego, California.
I need a California licensed electrical engineer to produce a professional feasibility opinion on the existing electrical infrastructure and power requirements for this venue buildout.
Primary deliverable
A stamped professional electrical feasibility opinion letter covering the following.
Assessment of existing electrical panel capacity and configuration at the premises.
Confirmation of whether 3-phase 208V power service is present or available at the building's main service entrance.
If 3-phase 208V is not currently present — preliminary opinion on the upgrade pathway and estimated cost range.
Preliminary power requirement review for a high-draw commercial entertainment venue including large-format projection and immersive audio systems, low-frequency sound delivery equipment, DSP processing racks, server infrastructure, and HVAC and lighting for 100-person occupancy.
About the project
This is a pre-lease electrical feasibility assessment to confirm site power infrastructure before executing a long-term commercial lease. Full load calculations and construction drawings will follow from the architect's permit drawing set. This opinion letter is the preliminary step that informs the lease decision and capital model.
The engineer will review available building documentation and will inspect the premises electrical panel directly as part of producing this opinion.
Requirements
California licensed electrical engineer or PE with electrical specialty. Please include your California license number in your application.
Experience with commercial tenant improvement or entertainment venue electrical assessments in San Diego County preferred.
Ability to produce a stamped written opinion within one week of engagement.
