Our client is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Lead Preschool Educator to join their innovative, remote-first childcare program. This position will be instrumental in designing and delivering engaging, high-quality early childhood education experiences for preschool-aged children. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of child development, a creative approach to curriculum design, and a proven ability to foster a stimulating virtual learning environment. This is a fully remote role, requiring a candidate comfortable and effective working from home.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive, age-appropriate preschool curriculum tailored for remote delivery, focusing on cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Create engaging and interactive online lesson plans, activities, and educational games. Conduct virtual circle times, storytelling sessions, and guided learning activities. Utilize various digital tools and platforms to facilitate online learning and communication. Provide individualized support and feedback to children, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. Communicate effectively and consistently with parents/guardians regarding children's progress, development, and participation. Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and families in a virtual setting. Collaborate with other remote educators and program coordinators to share best practices and ensure program consistency. Monitor and assess children's learning and development through virtual observation and participation. Stay current with best practices in early childhood education, particularly those applicable to remote learning environments. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role. Demonstrated experience in curriculum development for preschool-aged children. Proficiency in using educational technology and virtual learning platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom, interactive whiteboards). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and virtual engagement skills. Strong understanding of child development theories and their application in a remote setting. Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a remote environment. Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for early childhood education. Must have a reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup. Child CPR and First Aid certification is required.
