Foundever is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Network Engineer to join our team. The position will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-level network infrastructure solutions to support the company's business needs.
Requirements
- Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in network engineering
- CCNP or CCIE certification with proven specialization in either voice or security
- Check Point Firewall certification is a plus
- F5 certification is a plus
- Practical experience with fiber optic cabling standards (SMF, MMF, Copper) is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work different shifts and extended hours (when required)
- Ability to travel up to 15% domestically
- Ability to lift 40lbs overhead
- Valid driver's license
- Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware and Citrix
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS and Azure
- Knowledge of automation tools, such as Ansible and Python
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Kubernetes and Docker
- Exposure to artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) for network optimization and security
- Experience with big data analytics for network performance and anomaly detection
- Knowledge of DevOps practices for efficient network management and deployment
