Lead Early Childhood Program Director - Remote

Our client, a highly respected non-profit organization dedicated to early childhood education, is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Early Childhood Program Director to manage their initiatives from a fully remote position. This critical role involves overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of high-quality early learning programs that serve children and families. You will lead a team of program coordinators and educators, ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory standards, and foster strong partnerships with community stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of early childhood development, extensive program management experience, and a passion for advocating for young children. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and direction for all early childhood programs. Develop, implement, and refine program curricula and educational methodologies based on current research and best practices. Oversee the recruitment, training, and professional development of program staff, including teachers and coordinators. Ensure all programs meet or exceed state and federal licensing requirements and quality standards. Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Conduct regular program evaluations and assessments to measure impact and identify areas for improvement. Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, families, community partners, and funding agencies. Represent the organization at relevant conferences, meetings, and public forums. Develop and implement strategies for program outreach and enrollment. Ensure the creation of safe, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environments for all children. Stay current with trends and advancements in early childhood education and policy. Contribute to grant writing and fundraising efforts to secure program sustainability. Qualifications: Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Public Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in early childhood program management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or directorial capacity. Extensive knowledge of early childhood development principles, curriculum development, and assessment tools. Proven ability to manage budgets, staff, and complex programs effectively. Strong understanding of state and federal regulations governing early childhood education. Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Demonstrated success in building partnerships and collaborating with diverse stakeholders. Experience with grant writing and reporting is highly desirable. Proficiency in relevant software, including Microsoft Office Suite and program management tools. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting. Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or equivalent is a plus. This fully remote leadership role will oversee programs with operational ties to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, US , providing essential services to young children and families.
