Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
Evaluate, select, and price commercial lines business while supporting the performance and profitability of the portfolio.
Work closely with distribution partners and agency relationships, applying underwriting judgment and market awareness to support thoughtful growth within your assigned authority.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Evaluate, select, and price new and renewal business in alignment with underwriting standards and authority
Partner with Distribution to support territory production and profitability
Travel to key agency partner relationships, participate in virtual meetings, and attend industry events as needed
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Professional designations such as AU or CPCU preferred
Minimum of 5 years of underwriting experience in Property, General Liability, Commercial Auto and Workers Compensation
Strong understanding of underwriting practices, risk assessment, and policy structures
Familiarity with insurance policy language and coverage forms
Solid understanding of working with data to support underwriting decisions
Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skill
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and accountability

Salary Range
$60,000.00-$125,000.00 USD
In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, this range represents a good‐faith estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, credentials, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.
