Your Work Matters
As a Kitchen and Bath Inside Sales Specialist, you’ll help customers move from inspiration to execution during one of the most personal investments they’ll make in their home. From the first Quick Quote Estimate to the final countertop order, your ability to guide, problem-solve, and build trust directly impacts customer confidence, project timelines, and business growth.
Your Day Consists Of
Daily performing Quick Quote Estimates for customers and converting leads into completed countertop sales
Daily soliciting and closing sales by making phone calls to follow up and convert leads generated through the proprietary Quick Quote Estimate tool
Managing customer orders and partnering with internal and external teams to address questions, resolve issues, and facilitate the order process in a timely manner
Maintaining strong organizational and follow-up skills to consistently manage projects, track information, close sales, and provide program feedback
Utilizing and managing Floor & Decor applications including the Proprietary Orders Portal, Quick Quote Estimator, and POS system
Collecting customer payments, finalizing sales, tracking required paperwork, and ensuring completed sales are properly closed and delivered
Monitoring and communicating sample replenishment needs to vendors for stores and Product Review Centers while assisting with purchase orders for new stores and assortment updates
Attending conference calls and training sessions to relay information to store teams and maintaining consistent communication in support of company goals
Meeting and exceeding established sales and performance goals
You’ll Be Successful With
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
Two (2) years of sales, design, or project management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the role
Minimum of one (1) year of retail experience preferred
Knowledge of countertop installation, fabrication, or kitchen remodels is a plus
Excellent customer service, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and basic computer systems
Self-motivated approach with the ability to manage follow-up, prioritize tasks, and drive sales results
Willingness to work retail hours
Working Conditions (travel, environment)
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in a secure, office space to contain customer information.
Physical/Sensory Requirements
Medium Work – Ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
