ITQA Lead – athenaIDX Revenue Cycle Program

CTG is seeking to fill an ITQA Lead – athenaIDX Revenue Cycle Program position for our client. Location: Remote Duration: 12 months Duties: The Information Technology IT Quality Assurance Lead (ITQA Lead) for the RCM Transformation Program is a senior, hands-on quality and validation leader responsible for ensuring the accuracy, stability, and end-to-end integrity of revenue cycle system changes across athenaIDX Hospital Patient Accounting (HPA) and Billing Accounts Receivable (BAR), as well as a complex ecosystem of upstream and downstream clinical, financial, and ancillary systems. This role combines deep revenue cycle expertise, advanced technical QA/testing capabilities, and leadership accountability for quality outcomes across multiple interdependent initiatives. Key responsibilities include:<ul data-start="835" data-end="2864"><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="1nxgpd8" data-start="835" data-end="1005">Provide end-to-end QA oversight for athenaIDX integrations, ensuring accurate data flow across patient demographics, encounters, charges, coding, claims, and payments</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="15wjl0v" data-start="1006" data-end="1158">Design and execute system integration testing (SIT), end-to-end (E2E), regression testing, charge validation, claim validation, and workflow testing</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="56me0y" data-start="1159" data-end="1288">Identify impacted systems and integration touchpoints for athenaIDX changes and coordinate validation activities across teams</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="1txjf04" data-start="1289" data-end="1457">Partner with Interface, Application, Vendor, Compliance, HIM, Coding, Finance, and Revenue Cycle Operations teams to resolve defects and ensure regulatory alignment</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="gsdod1" data-start="1458" data-end="1606">Validate charge logic configurations, including Altera Charge Logic Module workflows, ensuring accurate, compliant, and auditable charge capture</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="njkc1y" data-start="1607" data-end="1718">Verify elimination of duplicate charges/documentation and ensure downstream posting accuracy into athenaIDX</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="1jfqwk4" data-start="1719" data-end="1851">Lead QA for dictionary and table configuration changes, ensuring accurate mapping and downstream system impacts are fully tested</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="mth65e" data-start="1852" data-end="1968">Execute pre- and post-implementation validation to confirm system integrity, stability, and workflow consistency</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="17y973e" data-start="1969" data-end="2102">Oversee QA for Edits and Hold Bills optimization initiatives, including validation of edits removal, creation, and revision logic</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="1ke6kvq" data-start="2103" data-end="2243">Test ETM and EDI workflows to ensure improved claim routing, reduced rejections, and alignment with user roles and operational processes</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="1g18zvx" data-start="2244" data-end="2374">Support denial prevention initiatives by identifying and validating upstream system issues contributing to preventable denials</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="us8j99" data-start="2375" data-end="2550">Validate fixes related to medical necessity, prior authorization, site-of-service rules, oncology billing, infusion services, clinical trials, pharmacy, and 340B workflows</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="qmeep" data-start="2551" data-end="2654">Develop test strategies, test plans, scripts, defect tracking, and formal QA sign-off documentation</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="yu0j0v" data-start="2655" data-end="2760">Provide governance, QA standards, and readiness assessments across all RCM transformation initiatives</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="1h7kwur" data-start="2761" data-end="2864">Communicate risks, issues, testing status, and quality outcomes to program and executive leadership</li></ul>Skills:<ul data-start="2880" data-end="3674"><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="1bx5vju" data-start="2880" data-end="2933">Strong expertise in athenaIDX HPA and BAR systems</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="1ucvkx7" data-start="2934" data-end="3028">Deep knowledge of revenue cycle operations, charge capture, billing, and claims processing</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="15qayio" data-start="3029" data-end="3118">Experience with system integration testing (SIT), E2E testing, and regression testing</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
