Job Description
Legal Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Interim Commercial Contracts Counsel to join our dynamic legal team on a temporary basis. This remote position is ideal for someone with a strong background in commercial contract law who can hit the ground running and provide immediate value. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts to support our business operations and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial contract law.
- Strong understanding of contract principles, including commercial, technology, and supplier agreements.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in legal research and document management systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including but not limited to NDAs, MSAs, SLAs, and vendor agreements.
- Provide legal advice on contract-related matters to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure that all contracts comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Identify potential risks in contract terms and provide solutions to mitigate those risks.
- Collaborate with other legal team members to maintain consistency in contract management processes and practices.
- Assist in the development and implementation of contract templates and playbooks.
- Manage contract lifecycle from initiation to execution and renewal.
Educational Qualifications
