Intake Coordinator- CASAC -Remote- After hours

About the position • Intake Coordinator (CASAC) • Remote work- after hours • Healthcare staff can work anywhere….The BEST work with US! • $35.71 per hour • A nationally recognized comprehensive Health and Human Services Agency, with over 60 programs across New York City and greater New York Area. • Samaritan Daytop Village, serves over 33,000 New Yorkers annually within your neighborhoods and communities so our success depends on those we employ. • The Role • This position must work after hours , weekends and possibly overnight after our outpatient clinics are closed. • Under general supervision, is responsible for providing a variety of services in the initial Client-Agency meeting including coordinating the interview process and making the appropriate referrals inside and outside the Agency. • Responsibilities • Provides outreach presentations to stakeholders. • Schedules and adheres to all interview appointments. Conducts interviews and makes recommendations in compliance with Agency and funding sources rules and regulations. • Prepares and gathers appropriate forms necessary for assessing individuals seeking treatment. • Codes, edits and enters data as needed for billing and recordkeeping. • Ensures accuracy for entered data and intake information. • Consults with Clinical staff regarding recommendations for participation or referral. • Assists in obtaining records for clients accepted for treatment. • Disseminates copies of interview and other forms to appropriate departments and/or agencies. • Offers education and information to clients and families regarding program philosophies and requirements for admission to program. • Conducts community presentations as requested. • Files and maintains client information in an appropriate manner. • Prepares monthly statistics. • Requirements • High School Graduate or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred or Master’s degree in Social Work or related field required based on the program. • CASAC-T Certification is required or QHP. • 2+ years of related experience in counseling and case management
