We are currently looking for candidates located within 60 miles of any of the listed hubs to foster more in-person connections while maintaining our flexible remote culture. About This Role We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Insurance Risk Management Lead to serve as the definitive subject matter expert for all insurance-related strategies at Intersect. In this role, you will act as the primary bridge between Intersect’s technical and operational teams and Google’s in-house insurance department. You will help design and implement a systematic insurance framework for our asset portfolio and act as the key internal coordinator, ensuring that all insurance-related data, documentation, and requirements flow seamlessly between Intersect and Google. You will work closely with technical teams, manage the insurance budget, and guide leadership on critical strategic insurance decisions. Team Overview This team plays a critical role in advancing Intersect’s mission to accelerate the clean energy transition by ensuring strong risk management practices across a growing portfolio of projects. The role partners cross-functionally to drive decision-making and build scalable processes that enable continued growth.
