Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced self starter that is detail-oriented oriented in Property & Casualty Personal Lines Insurance as an Account Manager within our agency. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with clients, brokers, and underwriters to ensure comprehensive coverage solutions that meet individual needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills an understanding of Property and Liability coverages, a passion for risk assessment, and a proactive approach to client service and satisfaction.
Duties
• Manage a portfolio of personal property and casualty insurance accounts, ensuring accurate policy issuance, renewals, and modifications
• Conduct thorough risk assessments through data collection and analysis to determine appropriate coverage levels
• Negotiate policy terms, premiums, and coverage options with clients and carriers to secure favorable terms while maintaining compliance with industry standards
• Perform underwriting duties by evaluating applicant information, financial data, and risk factors to determine insurability
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to client accounts, risk profiles, and claims history
• Discuss carrier rate changes and updates in underwriting with company reprentatives
• Leverage financial software tools for data analysis, forecasting, and portfolio management tasks
• Support loan origination or mortgage servicing processes
Experience
• Proven experience in property & casualty insurance account management
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms for clients or organizations
• Familiarity with underwriting procedures, risk analysis techniques, and financial analysis tools
• Demonstrated ability in data collection, quantitative research, and financial modeling to support decision-making processes
• Knowledge of fraud prevention methods and detection techniques within insurance or banking sectors
• Background in mortgage servicing or loan processing is advantageous but not mandatory

Pay: $55,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
