POSITION OVERVIEW **This position has Remote, Hybrid and In-Office options available** Delta Consulting Group is seeking experienced professionals with 15+ years of experience to join our Insurance and Recovery practice as Directors. The role requires developing client relationships, leading project teams, and delivering strategic guidance to clients and their legal counsel. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside Delta’s multi-disciplinary team of accounting, engineering, project advisory, and litigation professionals. Directors will oversee Teams ensuring quality work product, establish and support clients, perform financial analysis, claim preparation, client communications, and litigation/arbitration. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field (advanced degree preferred) 15+ years of experience preparing and/or evaluating first-party insurance claims, financial damages, or related forensic accounting work Prior experience with claim preparation, contract reviews, and damages analysis Experience with accounting systems and software, budgets, contract reviews, and performing analysis Intermediate / advanced proficiency with Excel, data analytic / data visualization tools, PowerPoint, etc. Strong client management and leadership skills, with the ability to oversee multiple engagements simultaneously Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; experience in expert reporting/testimony Business development track record, including established client relationships and proposal development CPA, CFF, CFA or other designations desirable ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Ability to perform all aspects of accounting work through various stages of a commercial or transactional project and/or dispute Draft deliverables, perform statistical analysis, manage client budgets and timelines, identify and control risks that arise during the engagement, prepare damages claims, and assist with expert reports and testimony Manage client work and deadlines, communicating work product and results to senior team members Oversee work product of junior team members including instructing and monitoring their progress and reviewing their work product for completeness and accuracy Audit your work product and peer review work product of others to ensure quality Business development activities, development of proposals, client meetings, and participate in industry-related organizations and events. Provide guidance and review for financial models, schedules, and reports prepared by project teams Mentor and supervise Consultants, Senior Consultants, and Associate Directors providing coaching, training, and feedback Participate in dispute resolution, including arbitration, mediation, or litigation support, and contribute to expert testimony as needed DELTA OVERVIEW For twenty plus years Delta Consulting Group has provided project advisory, investigations, risk mitigation and dispute resolution services to our clients around the world.
