Key Responsibilities Collaborate with faculty subject matter experts to design, develop, and revise engaging and effective online courses and learning materials. Apply sound instructional design principles and learning theories (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Bloom's Taxonomy) to create meaningful online learning experiences. Develop multimedia learning assets, including video, audio, interactive simulations, and graphics, to enhance course content. Utilize a Learning Management System (LMS), such as Canvas or Blackboard, to build and organize course content. Create assessments and evaluation strategies that align with learning objectives and measure student achievement. Provide guidance and support to faculty on best practices for online teaching and instructional technology. Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in online learning and instructional design. Manage multiple course development projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and quality standards. Participate in quality assurance reviews of online courses. Contribute to the continuous improvement of online program delivery at the university in **Oklahoma**. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, Curriculum Development, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 4 years of experience in instructional design, preferably within higher education or online learning environments. Proven experience in designing and developing online courses using an LMS (Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, etc.). Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design models. Proficiency with multimedia development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia) and graphic design software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a **hybrid** team setting. Experience working with diverse faculty and subject matter experts. Strong project management and organizational skills. Familiarity with the **Oklahoma City** educational community is a plus.
