Position Overview
We are currently expanding our remote travel coordination team and inviting applications for the role of Independent Travel Booking Specialist. In this position, you will assist clients with arranging vacation details, confirming trip components, and helping ensure their travel plans come together smoothly from the early planning stages through final reservation completion.
This role is well suited for individuals who enjoy organizing details, communicating with travelers, and learning about destinations such as beachfront resorts, cruise itineraries, guided tours, and international getaways. Training materials and ongoing team guidance are provided to help you build confidence and succeed in the role even if you are new to the travel industry.
Key Responsibilities
Support clients with booking travel elements including accommodations, airfare, cruises, tours, and activities
Review traveler preferences to help match them with suitable vacation options
Share destination insights that help clients move forward with planning decisions
Maintain communication with clients using email, messaging tools, and phone when appropriate
Coordinate confirmations and updates with approved travel supplier partners
Keep reservation details accurate within internal coordination platforms
Stay aware of current travel opportunities, promotions, and supplier announcements
Assist travelers throughout multiple steps of their itinerary preparation process
Candidate Qualifications
Interest in travel booking coordination and customer-focused support
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage tasks independently within a remote work environment
Comfortable organizing multiple requests and timelines
Basic familiarity with computer systems and web-based tools
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must reside in the U.S., U.K., or another approved hiring regions
