Job Description
The HR Generalist provides support in the areas of HR compliance, performance management, process improvement projects, employee relations and is responsible for assisting the HR Business Partner team with a variety of HR duties across the organization. The HR Generalist works collaboratively and has the ability to assist in more complex HR duties as needed. The HR Generalist acts as an Associate champion and change agent and will formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added services to Management and Associates that reflect the business objectives of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Partner with the HR Business Partner team to provide day-to-day guidance to Supervisors and Managers in the form of coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions, etc.
• Stay abreast of employment laws and use that knowledge to support Supervisor and Managers in the day-to-day management of Associates.
• Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to Supervisors and Managers.
• Assist Associates with day-to-day HR inquiries; work with colleagues in Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Learning and Development, HR Admin., etc. to ensure Associate questions are answered thoroughly and in a timely manner.
• Conduct intake sessions with hiring Managers to assist with the creation or revision of job descriptions. Obtain job codes as needed.
• Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to affect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
• Support HR compliance initiatives to reduce legal risks and ensuring legal compliance; Partner with the legal department as needed/required.
• Formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and Associates that reflect the business objectives of the organization.

Requirements
Education and Experience
Education Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in human resources, psychology, or other business-related discipline
Years of Experience
• Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience, ideally in the areas of Employee Relations, HR Administration, Compensation, Benefits, Leaves of Absence/Interactive Process/Work Accommodation, and Talent Acquisition.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certifications preferred

• Use keyboard and read from computer screen and reports.
• The ability to lift up to 15 lbs.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $87,600 - $131,500, depending on location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to associates (and their families) such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and short- and long-term disability insurance. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 236 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays). Paid sick time up to 80 hours per year unless otherwise required by law.
