Description:
• Design full-course high school STEM curricula, including scope and sequence, unit plans, and daily lesson plans.
• Develop student-facing lessons, problem sets, labs, projects, real-world applications, homework, and assessments.
• Ensure curriculum alignment with New York State standards and Zeta’s academic vision and outcomes.
• Embed inquiry-based learning, conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, and problem-solving into course materials.
• Design assessments that measure both content mastery and skill application.
• Collaborate with academic leaders, instructional coaches, and other curriculum writers to maintain coherence across courses and grade levels.
• Revise and improve curriculum materials using educator feedback and student performance data.
• Work with the designated project lead to manage deliverables and deadlines for the engagement.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience developing rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum.
• Proven record of producing curriculum that drives strong student outcomes.
• Experience with high school STEM curriculum development.
• Ability to work as a 1099 independent contractor for a 12-month project-based engagement.
• Immediate start date availability.
• Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
• Ability to collaborate remotely or in person depending on project needs.
Benefits:
• Compensation of $15,000 to $25,000 per project unit, depending on experience and project scope.
