At Kahn Media, we see graphic design as visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. We're looking for a talented graphic designer who can take concepts and ideas and create visual representations, in both print and electronic media. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and be skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable. Collaborating with multiple teams across the company, the graphic designer should be able to take written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing and be able to find the right style and layout for every project.
The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker, have a love for design, be a self-starter, and have working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. - We are looking for someone who has a passion for design in the luxury/lifestyle space, tech, cars, trucks, or the outdoors. Candidate must have marketing agency experience and be comfortable juggling multiple projects at once. This is for an in-house or hybrid working position. Travel may be required.
Requirements
● knowledgeable and proficient in the use of the Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
● Knowledgeable in the use of Canva, Mail Chimp, Shopify, and WordPress.
● Create print and digital collateral as assigned by the VP of Creative or Creative Project Manager
● Alert CPM or VP to issues that arise during the execution of projects
● Manage multiple simultaneous projects while ensuring all internal and client deadlines are met
● Update project management software in real-time and log all hours in time tracking software
● Send all completed work through the internal approval process and make any revisions requested by supervisors or the client.
● Layout press releases, media alerts, and newsletters in Mail Chimp as requested
● Take concepts from the Senior Graphic Designer or VP of Creative to completion including logos, print and digital ads, magazine layouts, website designs, apparel designs, illustrations, composites, photo retouching, brochures/marketing materials, and billboards
● Facilitate the workflow process in the project management software including revisions, comments, tasks, subtasks to ensure supervisors can monitor the revisions and progress in real-time
